and the good Frey dropped peace and plenty everywhere, and men went in and out and feared no wrong. King Volsung had a dwelling in the midst of fertile fields and fruitful gardens.

Features

Fairer than any dream was that dwelling. The roof was thatched with gold, and red turrets and towers rose above. The great feast-hall was long and high, and its walls were hung with sun-bright shields; and the door-nails were of silver.

Features

In the middle of the hall stood the pride of the Volsungs,—a tree whose blossoms filled the air with fragrance, and whose green branches, thrusting themselves through the ceiling, covered the roof with fair foliage. It was Odin’s tree, and King Volsung had planted it there with his own hands.

Information

Slussen is a Neo-Grotesque typeface inspired by architecture and construction. It is well suited to tech and industrial companies. Slussen's inspiration comes from rhythm and organisation of construction sites. When compared to more conventional Neo-Grotesque typefaces, Slussen's design structure is based off architecture, and linear evolution throughout angular outlines. Combined with flat endings and a slight contrast in letterforms, this font family has been designed to cover a very large range of uses, from small captions to huge titles. From Compressed to Expanded, the complete family ranges across 6 widths and 8 weights + matching italics for a total of 104 styles in order to fit all types and sizes of supports, both print and on screen. The family includes a Stencil version in reference to construction sites, ideal for designing signage tools and a Monospace version which combined with the standard version, allows Slussen to be a strong font system. # Expertly Designed Neo Grotesque Sans Serif Fonts Available for Licensing Our designers know the history of the field and how they can use it to create truly unique typefaces that set brands apart. Our designers know that grotesk type was the first sans serif printed text, created during the 1800s. We know that the neo-grotesque may often carries an eclectic, authoritative, or older industrial feel to it. We know the most lucrative applications for our fonts because we know where they originated and what people tend to associate them with. Most importantly, our background expertise helps us know for sure when we’ve created a standout typeface. After all, how can you know that you’ve created something unique if you don’t know what came before? Blaze Type fonts are designed by professional designers for other professional designers. ## Get a Typeface That People Haven’t Seen Before If you want your brand to stand out, you want to look different from your competition. That’s much more likely when you choose to license a professional typeface. You’re already very likely to have something novel and trendy with Blaze Type, but licensing in general weeds out plenty of competition. After all, people are less likely to use something they have to pay for when a free alternative is widely available. However, that just means that the free alternative is bound to be widespread. You’ll most likely see free fonts being used by many smaller businesses and even some larger businesses that believe they can cut corners design wise. **It’s just a font, right?** Surely, it’s not all that important. Those same businesses later fail to stand out from each other in front of potential customers. They’re all using some version of a free font that’s been recycled on the internet several times. Free fonts tend to be older fonts, which also means that they’re something most consumers have seen before. By licensing a typeface from us, you’re cutting through both the frequency and the age of your font. You’re using something our designers created with the present in mind, and far fewer companies are using that same font. And we’ve made our licensing particularly easy: With a single license, you can cover all your different operating platforms. ## Browse the Catalog You can find all our newest and most popular fonts in our Font Catalog. You can also see our licensing information in the Menu under “(link: https://blazetype.eu/license text: License).”
